We've got car chases on the mind. Ever since we saw this ultra-rad video (we hope you got a chance to see the making-of), we've been thinking about all those epic SF car stunts tucked away inside old movies: classic cars, old-school stunts, and views of the city from decades past. So we rounded up a few of our favorites for your viewing pleasure. Brace yourself for extremely non-linear geographic transitions, and enjoy!

Bullitt
It's the most iconic car chase in SF history, and the 1967 Ford Mustang GT does not disappoint. Watch Steve McQueen pursue his targets, careening around corners and bouncing over hilltops. We're pretty sure the chase cuts from the Marina Green to Guadalupe Canyon Parkway, but hey, we're not complaining.

The Rock
Watch Sean Connery speed through SF in a Humvee, smashing absolutely everything he can (including a hippied-out VW Bug, a truck carrying "Yosemite Water", a cable car and an unrealistic amount of trash). Meanwhile, Nick Cage takes chase in a yellow Ferrari and doesn't have the best of luck (did he shoot his airbag? Sheesh).

The Streets of San Francisco
This police drama ran from 1972 to 1977, and true to its name, this chase shows plenty of recognizable SF streets around China Basin, including the 3rd Street drawbridge familiar to the Giants fans of today.
