That thing when you have an exceptional customer service experience then realize you've just been lowering your expectations over the years. If you've been living in DC for any number of years, you may know what I'm talking about. Well, the greatness that is Valeria Medrano, owner of Zina Boutique right on U Street, is the antithesis of that. She and her friendly smile snapped me out this fog I'd been living in when I visited her store last week. Not only was I immediately welcomed in to browse Zina's collection of breezy spring and summer looks, as well as the store's newly acquired collection of vintage and antique sterling silver jewelry, but I was also treated to a free personal shopping experience. "That's what I love to do," said Valeria. "No matter what body type you have, I know what will look good and I will make sure everyone leaves this store happy."
