From the ooey-gooeyness of Mexican enchiladas to the juicy deliciousness of the Salvadoran grilled chicken to the spicy delight of Honduran ceviche, everything at Camino Real made my mouth water more than a sprinkler on a golf course.
Unless you're a hater of epic proportions, there's not a lot of bad things you can say about Latin American food. It's wonderful. From the ooey-gooeyness of Mexican enchiladas to the juicy deliciousness of the Salvadoran grilled chicken to the spicy delight of Honduran ceviche, everything at Camino Real made my mouth water more than a sprinkler on a golf course. But what's more, thanks to over a decade of restaurant experience possessed by Jose, one of the owners (the other is his son Jason), this restaurant and bar goes one step further: it also features an American twist. "One of our most popular dishes is our NY Strip Steak with mushroom sauce that comes with jumbo shrimp, broccoli, a baked potato and rice," said Jose. "We also sell a lot of salmon." And I know why. The salmon I sampled was perfectly seasoned. Accompanied by a side of fresh veggies and a portion of spiced-up rice, this is also one of the healthiest meals I've had in a restaurant. WoOT! More calories left for margaritas!
