Bourbon in Glover Park

Bikini season is over, which means it's time to set some new goals. One of ours? To try all 165 bourbons on offer (not on the same night) at this Glover Park establishment.
It's 2013, which means it's time to set some new goals. Ours? Try all 165 bourbons on offer at this appropriately named establishment in Glover Park. Obviously, we won't be able to do this all in one night, so we're already planning our future visits, which will include, yes, a good amount of booze, as well as some tasty American fare to sop it up. The decade-old bar/restaurant added a few items to its menu, including a Philly steak and cheese sandwich made the traditional way, topped with Cheese Whiz, and a great fish + chips platter. "We make our own beer batter out of an American craft brew," said General Manager Katie Moore. The result is crispy, golden and, literally, finger-lickin' good. Equally deserving of high-praise here is the chicken Cobb salad. Featuring smoked gouda, goat cheese, slices of hard-boiled eggs, bacon, tomato and cucumber, it's tasty even without the stellar drizzle of honey mustard dressing. And of course, no discussion about Bourbon's merits can go without mentioning the famous tater tots and chili mac. These dishes were made for pairing with American craft brews, of which there are many here, along with the bourbons. Speaking of, it's time for me to get 1/165th way through our goal.
