With hundreds of offerings, varied from dozens of tea varieties, flavored sugars, salts, spices, peppers and more – they've got something for every corner of our palates. Here's a truth: exiting the Spice and Tea Exchange of Georgetown is liable to prompt some compliments. Many a time we have reentered the world after delighting in the shop's aromatic deliciousness and been told how lovely we smell. And as much as we'd like to attribute our heavenly aroma to our shampoo or perfume – we've come to accept the fact that it probably has more to do with what we're carrying away from the shop in our tiny, aromatic paper bag.
Our purchases of preference? Well, we certainly love cozying up with a hot cup of Ginger Turmeric tea after a long day at the office. Also delicious is their Coconut Oolong and Emperor's Chai teas. And don't forget the stop's specialty spices. (We can't wait to crush up a few pink peppercorns to add a bit of spice to our goat cheese and arugula salad we packed for lunch.) Their signature Indiana Yellow Curry seasoning contains a bit of everything that we crave, from fenugreek to cardamom. Trust us, we've tried a slew of curry seasonings all over this town, and the Spice and Tea Exchange's cannot be topped. "Our specialty spice mixtures are proprietary," the shop's Owner, Keith, told us. With hundreds of offerings, varied from dozens of tea varieties, flavored sugars, salts, spices, peppers and more – they've got something for every corner of our palates.
