Also on the topic of food, the staff of Washington City Paper made a list of their favorite restaurants in town. While this might seem like just another way to list the same 20 popular/trendy places in town, WCP digs deeper. This is a practical encyclopedia of several culinary curiosities. Excellent job, WCP.

In less appetizing news, the DC City Council has found itself with another scandal on its hands thanks to the moronic adventures of Kwame Brown. To, um, commemorate this routine occasion, TBD put together a lovely sad slide show of other area scandals...

While it wasn't because they were fed up with dopey scandals, but the bloggers of 14th & U recently relocated to Maryland, which weirdly a lot of us DC residents think of as a faraway foreign land. They let us know about some differences between their old and new lifestyles, both good and bad.

Did you miss Radiohead this weekend? (We did, but without regrets because we went to tUnE-yArDs instead, which was super legit.) It's still fun to read about how the Verizon Center show went. Neither the stage sank nor did it get flooded out! Via Rhythm Without Representation.
