Forget about the old stereotype. Certain parts of DC may seem like Hollywood for Ugly people, but that all goes away the second you step into one of DC's world-class theaters. That's true especially at Woolly Mammoth, which is probably the most experimentally forward-thinking theater in the area. In fact, coming off its last season, which ended with a play about The Simpsons, next month the Woolly crew will inaugurate its 2013 season with The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity, a play about professional wrestling. Yes, dear readers, pro-wrestling can be surprisingly high-brow.

With that in mind, Woolly is looking for a few good men and women willing to take an hour out of their Monday afternoon to shout obscene phrases into a mic in the name of art. Yes, Woolly's sound designer needs to record a diverse set of crowd noises and voices to give the impression of a full wrestling arena. Sure, it's not a starring role, but it's a foot, or maybe a pinky toe in the door. Sign up here, then pencil it in for Monday, August 13, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided, along with endless praise. Getting on the cover of US Weekly, though? That's up to you.
